Quarantine-films

During the current COVID-19 pandemic, 17 young directors challenged themselves to create an artistic take on the situation. Each had two weeks to comple a film using only equipment they had at hand.

The only rule was obey the authorities guidelines during the quarantine period.

The films serve as a take on the time we’re living in and will hopefully be a document of the Danish lockdown, an event that will truely be remembered and retold for many years to come.

I had the pleasure of working with director Laura Hancock as a composer on the final film of the series and her own contribution Quarantine Life.

Lauras grandmother Aase suffered a stroke in 2019 and has since spent the days in her apartment. Laura asks the question: whether it is possible to find true meaning when you suddently become unable to live a normal everyday life?
